When you build a community, try to build it with a purpose. I'm seeing many communities that post something like "Join my Discord" with a link. It really doesn't say anything at all.

Make your messaging about the reader, not you.

"If you find that you are jumping on Discord at night and none of your friends are around, come make new friends with us. Join us in games, talk about art, and watch some anime."
