Something creeps through ancient pines, crawling across hills and infesting the fog as it sinks its claws deep into the roots of the land. The air tastes putrid with a disease no clan has ever seen. Starclan has fallen in their holy battle, and the valley feels rotten beneath your paws, every beat of your frantic heart being on borrowed time.

For moons, four clans have thrived within the valley

Brackenclan: Forest-dwelling warriors who find sacred blessings amongst crows as they move between ancient roots and overhead in the branches of their ancient forest.

Mistclan: Protectors of their sacred waterways, paws always left damp with hearts hardened by fog and faith within their holy wetlands.

Breezeclan: Swift and untamed, racing across endless fields of flowers beneath the open sky of their plains.

Ridgeclan: Unyielding and sharp as the mountain they call home, cats with glacier ice and discipline in their blood.

But now? Something has taken hold, it's been festering unseen and quiet until now. It twists its victims into something else, something horrific and lost. The clans have no name for it, but no cat is truly safe from what is lurking closer and closer with each breath.

The Withering is a realistic, 18+ Warrior Cats roleplay set in the Pacific Northwest's Cascade Range, carrying themes of disease, decay, and survival.
